The second-division club launched its third kit with a design inspired by Aston Villa’s jerseys, which the newspaper highlighted for the historic link between both clubs and the uniqueness of this tribute in Argentine football.
The design pays homage to Ferro’s early years when the club received jerseys from the English team as a donation after a friendly match between the two.
This is not the first time they’ve used a uniform of this style. In 2000, Ferro had already presented a jersey inspired by the “Villans.”
