What is FIFA’s Volunteer Programme?
This initiative brings together thousands of people from all over the world to collaborate in the organization of major events.
FIFA has opened applications to join the 2026 World Cup edition. Participants will assist with tasks ranging from logistics and access coordination to media support and fan zone assistance.
The Federation does not offer financial compensation, but will cover basic needs such as meals and beverages during working days.
FIFA’s Volunteer Programme began in December 2020 with the aim of involving people from different countries in the organization of events such as the World Cups.
With an expected participation of around 65,000 people, it will be the largest volunteer programme in the history of a FIFA event.
