The rise of medical assistance sponsors in Argentine football

Vélez Sarsfield introduced Go! Assistance as their new secondary sponsor, joining the list of clubs that have partnerships with companies of this kind.

River Plate has had Assist Card as a sponsor since 2019, making it the longest-standing deal in this category. On the other hand, competitor Pax Assistance has been sponsoring Boca Juniors since 2024.

Pax also has a partnership with Racing Club since the beginning of this year and is the official sponsor of the Liga Profesional for the second consecutive season.

 In the case of Vélez, Boca, and Racing, they share the same sponsor placement on their kits: on the back of the shorts. Meanwhile, River Plate features the brand on their jersey sleeves.

 As revealed by the president of Vélez, the strategic agreement with Go! Assistance also includes travel assistance and insurance services for the club’s players and staff on all trips.
