The Buenos Aires MotoGP will generate 7 times more money than the last Argentine edition

According to the Buenos Aires Government, the estimated economic impact for the 2027 motorcycle racing event will be $150 million - far surpassing the $20M generated by the 2025 Termas de Río Hondo edition.

The Buenos Aires projection accounts for expected tourism revenue and job creation across hospitality, gastronomy, transportation and service sectors.

Compared to European Grand Prix events, Buenos Aires will also rank higher. Spain's Aragon GP generates about $55M annually (per Marca), while Germany's Saxon GP impacts the local economy with $58M (Daily Sabah reports).

Among newer MotoGP hosts, Thailand's 2025 event generated $141M (per Nation Thailand) - largely due to local enthusiasm in a country where 87% of households own motorcycles.
