Mercado Libre announces first sponsorship deal with an Argentine football club
The leading Latin American e-commerce company will feature its logo on the Estudiantes de La Plata jersey.
Starting with the Clausura Tournament final next Saturday, the brand will appear on the left sleeve of the "Pincha's" shirts, in an agreement set to run throughout 2026.
A month ago, Mercado Libre announced an alliance with the Professional League to be the naming sponsor for the Argentine football tournaments in 2026 and 2027.
This marks the company's first sponsorship of a club in Argentina, although at a continental level, it has been present on the Flamengo jersey since 2021 and on Chivas de Guadalajara's jersey since 2023 (via its digital wallet, Mercado Pago).
