Mastercard activated its sponsorship with the CONMEBOL Women’s Copa Libertadores

In Argentina, the host country of the tournament, the brand organized a photography exhibition dedicated to women’s football titled “On the Field: A Thousand Women.”

The exhibition featured images by photographers from across South America, highlighting the transformative role of women in football and society. It had previously been showcased at sporting events in Australia, Colombia, Argentina, Mexico, and Spain.

“At Mastercard, we always strive to promote equal opportunities. That’s why we created the campaign ‘Facts on the Field’, which consisted of showcasing images of players, coaches, referees, and others during the men’s CONMEBOL Libertadores matches in Argentina and Brazil — aiming to expand and raise visibility for women’s football,” said Anahí Navarrete Gertner, Marketing Director for Mastercard in Argentina, Uruguay, and Paraguay.
