Liverpool FC announces landmark partnership with Turkish Airlines
The flag carrier of Turkey will become the primary shirt sponsor for the Reds starting in the 2027–28 season.
According to reporting by the BBC, the five-year agreement is valued at a total of $406 million USD for the club.
The Turkish Airlines logo will feature on the front of the men’s, women’s, and academy team shirts. Unlike other major airline partnerships in English football, the deal will not include stadium naming rights, with the ground retaining its iconic Anfield name.
The airline replaces financial services group Standard Chartered, which has appeared on Liverpool's shirt since 2010. That deal followed a long-term tenure with Carlsberg, which ran for nearly two decades between 1992 and 2010.
