Iconic "Big Head" figurines return for the 2026 World Cup
Candide, the Brazilian toy manufacturer, has secured the official FIFA license to relaunch the iconic "cabezones" figurines that gained fame in the '90s.
Rebranded as "FIFA World Cup Ballers," the collection features 42 miniature footballers sold in "mystery boxes," including several rare special editions.
The lineup includes three players from each World Cup-winning nation, alongside representatives from Canada, the United States, and Mexico as host countries. Representing Argentina are Lautaro Martínez, Emiliano "Dibu" Martínez, and Lionel Messi—the latter of whom boasts two additional special versions.
The classic "Big Heads" were originally a massive marketing success for Coca-Cola during the 1994 and 1998 World Cups. In Argentina, the promotion famously included miniatures of the entire national squad.
The new Candide Ballers are priced at 150 reais (approximately $30 USD). While shipping is currently available throughout Brazil, international delivery options have not yet been established.
