Chapecoense unveils jersey in tribute to Atlético Nacional
Designed by Kappa, it will serve as the home kit for the 2026 season, marking the club's return to the first division ten years after the air disaster.
The Brazilian club added white stripes to its classic solid green design to emulate the jersey of the Colombian side, who in November 2016 requested the CONMEBOL Sudamericana title be awarded to Chapecoense as a tribute to the victims of the tragedy.
The kit features two special inscriptions with the phrase "Forever remembered" in Portuguese alongside the commemorative star. The launch slogan is "Brothers forever," highlighting the eternal friendship and gratitude toward Nacional.
This is the second time Chapecoense has honored the gesture of the "Verde de la Montaña" in this manner. Just months after the accident, they collaborated with Umbro to release a white jersey featuring the Colombian flag on the chest.
