Betting companies dominate main sponsorships at 2025 Club World Cup
At Marca en Zona we reviewed the main sponsor categories for teams competing in the tournament.
9 of the 32 participating clubs feature betting companies as their main jersey sponsors, including all South American participants (River Plate, Boca Juniors, Flamengo, Fluminense, Botafogo and Palmeiras).
The second most popular category is travel and tourism sponsors, including airlines (Emirates, Riyadh Air, Qatar Airways, Etihad) and cruise company Royal Caribbean for Inter Miami.
Next come telecommunications and automotive sector sponsors, with three teams each. The remaining clubs have diverse main sponsors ranging from engineering firms to energy drink companies.
